A Bit About the Overstock Wine Club
Since there's no information of substance available on the Overstock website, we dug a little deeper into the wine club. Knowing that Overstock doesn't sell any other alcohol-based products, we assumed they have a third-party company running their wine club... and they do! The Overstock Monthly Wine Gift Club is actually run by a company called ICG America, the parent company for AmazingClubs.com and TheFlyingNoodle.com, presumably under the AmazingClubs.com aegis. The AmazingClubs.com brand has garnered a lot of press and attention and claims to be the largest Gift of the Month Club in the world.
What to Expect from Overstock Wine Club
The clubs provided by AmazingClubs.com aren't geared toward connoisseurs who might receive these gifts. These gift clubs are more aiming to be the "perfect gift" for the unitiated buyer who knows their family or friends or employees like wine. So, we assume that based on their success they DO know what makes a great gift, even if it's not something a wine enthusiast would choose for herself.
Why we recommend Overstock Wine Club
We're willing to go out on a limb and say this about the Overstock Wine Club. Imagine in your head a perfectly serviceable two-bottle-a-month wine club where each month you receive two perfectly acceptable bottles of wine for a perfectly reasonable price. And your gift recipient will be perfectly happy to receive them and drink them.
Overstock Ships Wine to:
Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Dist of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Wyoming

for $11899
pre-paid total, plus tax and shipping
(approx. $19.83 per bottle)
This is a generic two-bottle of the month club provided by a third-party wine club company (since Overstock isn't licensed to sell alcohol).
