Use our wine club ratings to find the best wine clubs where bottles cost less than $50

There are so many wine clubs available today that choosing a monthly wine membership may seem overwhelming. That's why we're here! This curated list of wine clubs features wines that cost less than $50 per bottle. Our ratings system looks at quality-to-price ratio, shipping costs, uniqueness, and custom features. Wherever possible, prices include shipping costs, but rarely include sales tax. Be sure to select the state you're shipping to, as not all wine clubs can ship to all states.

International Series
by Gold Medal Wine Club
All-Around Rating:

Overview: Exclusive wines from around the world and an Adventure Package of tasty treats and other goodies to take you on a worldwide journey without leaving your living room.

What We Love: It's hard to compare a wine club that includes extra goodies to one that doesn't, because come on, most wine lovers love food, too! The fact that you can't get these wines from any other company in the U.S. doesn't hurt either.

Could Be Better: We don't have any suggestions for what to improve within the International Series wine club. Yay!

International Selections
by The California Wine Club
All-Around Rating:

Overview: Using the same methods and ideas of wine selection as they've used for years in California, the California Wine Club has translated their vision to an International stage.

What We Love: The California Wine Club has an excellent reputation and they've been in business a long time. We like that it's a family business supporting other family businesses.

Could Be Better: We think they should have stayed in California. There are many other specialty clubs that the California Wine Club could have developed and left the International wines to other wine clubs.

inClub Special Occasion
by Invino
All-Around Rating:

Overview: Custom wine club where you choose everything. These special occasion wines deliver amazing QPR due to clever buying strategies.

What We Love: No other wine club has ever, and probably will ever, deliver this level of customization. You want it? You got it. It's perfect for any oenophile.

Could Be Better: We'd love to see a ton more pre-made "personality profiles" to make sign-up at any price a breeze. Also, the ability to buy a case at a time would be fabulous.

The Vintners Series
by Wine of the Month Club ®
All-Around Rating:

Overview: Showcases the winemaker's passion and work so you're drinking something special in every bottle. A mid-level club at entry-level prices.

What We Love: We love that Paul streams his wine-tasting sessions live over the Internet so we can see what he's tasting and how much he's rejected.

Could Be Better: No recommendations for improvement here. This wine club sets the bar high as a standard for all other wine clubs.

The Wine Tour - Kosher
by KosherWine.com
All-Around Rating:

Overview: A kosher wine club is a rare kind of wine club, but we'd recommend KosherWine.com even if there were many more choices.

What We Love: We're happy to see them offering both ongoing subscriptions and pre-paid gift subscriptions, as well as discounts on reorders.

Could Be Better: Like many other wine clubs, we'd like the to tell us which wines they've sent in recent shipments so we can be sure we're getting good value for our wine budget.

The World of Wine Club
by Vinesse
All-Around Rating:

Overview: One of the best International wine clubs. Each shipment features a new wine region... and often unusual ones!

What We Love: Consistent quality and excellent "discovery" club enhances your wine knowledge and expands your palate.

Could Be Better: We'd love it customers were rewarded for ordering the bigger shipments. "Buy more save more" would be great!

Red Fans Trio Wine Club
by Direct Cellars Wine Club
All-Around Rating:

Overview: For red wine lovers, a dedicated club is an excellent choice. In addition to selecting unusual reds, especially compared to similar wine clubs, Direct Cellars has a great rewards program where you can get free wine every month.

What We Love: To us, the best part of Direct Cellars is that reorders—you know, the wines you like the most and want more of—are sold to you at pennies above Direct Cellars cost! Their killer referral program means you can get your monthly shipments for free.

Could Be Better: Direct Cellars is designed to deliver extraordinary value—like free shipping. It means they don't have all the bells-and-whistles of other wine clubs, specifically a gift option or a satisfaction guarantee.

Global Access Club
by Global Wine Cellars
All-Around Rating:

Overview: A thoughtfully-curated selection of premium wines whose quality exceeds their price. We enjoyed the unusual selections and the beautiful tasting booklet which accompanies the shipment.

What We Love: The wines are very good, especially when compared to other wine clubs in this price range. The introductory offer and member re-order discounts make this an excellent way to buy wine online.

Could Be Better: This is a fairly limited offering for a wine club. We'd really like to see options for a pre-paid subscription as well as red-only and white-only selections, and monthly deliveries.

The Collectors Series
by MonthlyClubs.com
All-Around Rating:

Overview: A solid two-bottle International wine of the month club. Consistent value and quality, with thorough tasting notes make this great as a gift or for yourself.

What We Love: A mixed tasting panel of consumers and professionals ensures a broad range of wine drinkers will enjoy their selections, and we are fond of all their many ways to customize your order.

Could Be Better: We're not sure these wines qualify as "Collector" so the name feels awkward. We know the wines are great, and are premium wines, but Collector evokes an elite level.
