The Collectors Series
by MonthlyClubs.com

Overview: A solid two-bottle International wine of the month club. Consistent value and quality, with thorough tasting notes make this great as a gift or for yourself.

What We Love: A mixed tasting panel of consumers and professionals ensures a broad range of wine drinkers will enjoy their selections, and we are fond of all their many ways to customize your order.

Could Be Better: We're not sure these wines qualify as "Collector" so the name feels awkward. We know the wines are great, and are premium wines, but Collector evokes an elite level.

The Masters Series
by MonthlyClubs.com

Overview: A solid two-bottle International wine of the month club. The unusual choice to send one wine from their lower-end and higher-end clubs can result in unexpecting tastings, but the wines are still very good.

What We Love: A mixed tasting panel of consumers and professionals ensures a broad range of wine drinkers will enjoy their selections, and we are fond of all their many ways to customize your order.

Could Be Better: We think they're doing a great job. We might like to see a little more value in the wines, if we were being picky.

International Wine Club
by Cellars Wine Club

Overview: Like most of the 2-bottle International wine clubs available, this one is a great way to learn about wines from around the world.

What We Love: Cellars Wine Club is a (mostly) green company. They use earth-friendly packaging that is 100% recyclable.

Could Be Better: We'd like a better understanding of how they select their wines. We know some of what they've selected, but not anything about why.

90+ Point Wine Club
by Cellars Wine Club

Overview: Wine ratings are subjective but it's rare to find a 90+ point wine that isn't of a certain respectable level of quality, even if you don't like it's taste.

What We Love: This 90+ point club is a little expensive if all you got were 90-point wines, but you really do get 90+ (usually +)!

Could Be Better: We'd like a better understanding of how they select their wines. We know some of what they've selected, but not anything about why.

West Coast Wine Club
by Cellars Wine Club

Overview: Recognizing that there is more to wine on the west coast of the United States than what California produces, they've come up with a club to help you explore Oregon and Washington's award-winning wine regions, too.

What We Love: You get to dig in deeper on wines that rarely leave their states, expand your knowledge of how varietals create different flavor profiles depending on where they're grown, and keep on enjoying California wines.

Could Be Better: We'd like a better understanding of how they select their wines. We know some of what they've selected, but not anything about why.

The California Series
by Wine of the Month Club ®

Overview: For those of you who love that California wine and still want the unbeatable value that Wine of the Month Club is so devoted to.

What We Love: There people who have been members of this wine club for over 20 years! The average wine club's membership length is 4 months.

Could Be Better: We'd love to see the normal red-and-white mix offered, as well as a whites-only California wine club. There are some KILLER white wines coming out of California at great value.

Elevant Society Wine Club
by Vinesse

Overview: Reliably good quality premium wines. Includes some real gems and we often see their selections on Lot18.

What We Love: We've been happy with the quality and value of 80% of the wine we've received from the Elevant Society wine club. We think you will be, too.

Could Be Better: We'd like to see a little less of the superlatives... "super-premium" wines don't carry a $35 price tag. Regardless, these are definitely premium wines worth their price.

Syrah Wine Club
by Gourmet Food Clubs

Overview: A rare wine club focusing only on Syrah. If you are or know a Syrah (or Shiraz) lover, this is a no-brainer decision.

What We Love: Paso Robles Syrah is typically a big fruity wine that goes best with BBQ, pizza, and Italian food. We love that this wine club is an opportunity to sample many wonderful Paso Robles Syrah wines.

Could Be Better: We'd like them to publish what wines they've shipped to customers in the past and we'd like it if the website were more user-friendly.

Battle of the Month Club
by Wine Battles

Overview: Entry-level tournament where you compare two wines head-to-head. Best when shared with friends as you open two full-size bottles at one time.

What We Love: The most in-depth wine education experience in any wine club. Someone even gets to play the sommelier! (Feels kind of like being the banker in Monopoly.)

Could Be Better: The "game" experience could be structured to support various levels of interest, in case you're tired and you mostly just want to enjoy the wines and the experience of comparing them.
